The Great Chicago Kiddie Express Train Co. - Train rental - great for kids parties. All battery electric trains, seats 16 kids & adults, runs indoors and out. Great for parties, promotions, seasonal events, park districts - anywhere you want to make kids happy with a train ride. We at kidwinks™ think Phil, of The Chicago Kiddie Express Train Co., is a great guy - he is one of the good ones!
Illinois Railway Museum - All moms are free on Mother's Day with a fare-paying child or adult (May 10th). May 9th is Scout Day. This is America's largest Railway musuem. Streetcars, Steam, Diesel & Electric Locmatives & more. They even have a dinner train - the Nebraska Zephyer. Sounds cool!
Donley's Wild West Town - Admission includes unlimited rides on the train.
Blackberry Farm - Admission includes unlimited rides on the train.
Hesston Steam Museum - 2.5 mile train ride through woods, lakes and farms fields.
Waterman & Western Railroad - 1 mile train ride.
Rehm Park - FREE hand-operated train rides.
Metra Train - Kids ride FREE on weekends.
Museum of Science & Industry - The Great Train Story model railroad with more than 30 trains running on 1,400 feet of track. Kids also have a chance to see and sit on old Steam trains. Very cool. And of course there is the Zephyr as you enter the museum.
Villa Park Historical Museum - Once a commuter train station it now hold railroad memorabilia.
All Aboard Diner - Fun for all ages. Fun times and great food delivered to you via train. Peanut and allergy conscious.
Tyler's Tender - Meals are delivered by Train.
Buffalo Phil's - Wisconsin Dells - Meals are delivered by Train.
