Live Nest Cams - FREE

Early spring is when birds of all types lay their eggs, and many sanctuaries and organizations have set up cameras aimed at certain nests so people all over the world can watch as the eggs are laid, tended and hatched and the babies are raised.  It's fascinating for kids and adults of all ages.
Here are some of the sites we've found with live nest cams.  Many require you to sit through a short commercial before the real show, but that's a minor inconvenience.

Wanderlust - St. Louis

Every couple of months I start to feel the need to travel.  It doesn’t matter where I go.  I just have to go somewhere.  A couple of things you should know about the way I travel 1) I am always on a budget.  2) I never make plans too far in advance.  3) I always take my two boys (now 7 & 9).  4) I love to see and do new things.  5) My husband usually doesn’t travel with my kids and I.  With that said, one of my favorite types of trips is the car trip.  I totally enjoy driving for hours to somewhere I have never been before, singing songs from the 70‘s, and smoking….if I hadn’t given it up 15 years ago.  That ...
