I am very disappointed. I used to love this place. They are getting too big for their britches. First of all, there is only one entrance and one exit. They expanded so now the place is huge. Way to big for only one way in and one way out. Especially when you are lugging around heavy bags of apples or a gallon of apple cider and you are parked and the opposite end of the exit. Then, their pricing is outrageous. There should be no charge for parents in the "barnyard". We don't do anything but walk around yet we have to pay $15 per person to do that. The apple picking prices are another issue. $14.50 for a 1/2 peck. I am a mom that took 2 children and right there, I spent $90. No food, nothing extra. And you have to pay for the apple picking if you are going on the tractor over there. Then, they have a huge sign on the building advertising apple cider donuts and a bakery. The funny thing is, you can't buy anything there to walk around and eat. Everything there is to take home so you got to go back to the kitchen to get a single donut or a cup of apple cider. The place is just too big now for them not to have more than one place to enter/exit and get food. Otherwise, you are walking a lot more than you should have too. Finally, they need someone monitoring that corn box. The kids just throw corn kernels at each other as hard as they can and no one seems to care.
Went here a couple weeks ago with Girl Scouts. Went apple picking and the girls were able to go to the petting zoo, zip line, play area, etc. My only complaint was they ran out of apple donuts. How does that happen?
